Top 9 Pokémon Games
Top 9 Pokémon Games
I loved the Pokemon series ever since 1999 when I was 3-4 years old. I got into it during peak Poke-fever. Some people may say much of it was due to nostalgia that I dislike the new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and my favorite Pokemon game is Silver, so I’m going to go back through each of the main series’ games besides the remakes and third versions (Those might come after) to give my adult perspective on these games.
Shortly after getting into Pokemon through the TCG and anime, I was gifted a teal Gameboy Color and a copy of Pokemon Red Version. My reading comprehension wasn’t the best, but I still managed to finish the game after getting stuck a few times and basically only using my starter. After that, my Pokemon appreciation soared and I made sure to find a way to play each new generation before the next came out. And through the years of playing all of the games as they came out I mentally noted the quality of each game in order.

Essentially it’s Gen 2>Gen 6>Gen 1>Gen 3>Gen 4>Gen 5>Gen 7>Gen 8>Gen 9.
Once I’ve gone through each of the games I’ll be posting a review as well as a new tier list showing where I place the games, which may change over time as I add more to the list as their placement is relative.
Each Pokemon review will be available here:
- Pokemon Red And Blue Nintendo Gameboy Review
- Pokemon Gold And Silver Nintendo Gameboy Color Review (Coming Soon)
And the new and improved tier list will be here:
